Canadian Scholars is in search of a highly motivated and technically inclined individual to join our team in a 1-year contract role as Publisher Workflows Assistant. This individual will work alongside our Assistant Sales Manager and our Director of Sales and Marketing, collaborating closely with our dynamic sales, marketing and distribution teams.

About You: You’re a resourceful and motivated self-starter who is unafraid to take initiative. You are comfortable working with a variety of different software and can build systems to achieve outcomes. You are happy working independently and can see projects through from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

  • CRM development and management: refine and maintain CRM data.
  • Data analysis infrastructure: Expand data analysis capability within CRM. Build dashboards, automated reports and custom data display features.
  • Email marketing: Create automated email workflows for use by our Publisher’s Representatives.
  • Market research: Conduct market research by discipline; optimize method, explore integration opportunities.
  • Build automated customer service capabilities through software integration.
  • Explore additional software tools to support sales and marketing efforts.

Your Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary degree, diploma, or certificate
  • Strong technical skills (basic HTML/CSS knowledge)
  • Experience working with a CRM platform
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Adept organizational, project management, and time management abilities
  • 1-2 years of experience working with software or digital systems in a workplace setting would be a bonus
