Women’s Press is heading to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to add a dash of Canada to the 2015 National Women’s Studies Association Conference. From November 13th–15th, you can find us in booth #309 at the Exhibit Hall. Founded in 1977, the NWSA holds the only annual meeting in the US dedicated to showcasing the latest feminist scholarship. As Canada’s oldest English-language feminist press, we’re excited to meet academics that share our commitment to feminist perspectives.

We’ll also be bringing a selection of gender-focused Women’s Press and CSPI titles for you to browse, including the newly-released Oversight: Critical Reflections on Feminist Research and Politics, our bestselling Gender and Women’s Studies in Canada: Critical Terrain, and the 2016 Everywoman’s Almanac. Acquisitions editor Martha Hunter will be on hand to discuss publishing opportunities at the press. So come visit us, and don’t forget to request your complimentary examination copies!
