Using concrete examples, this optimistic book illustrates the ways in which structual social work theory is being successfully implemented in social work practice. "This is a long-awaited book on the practice of structural social work. It cannot be missed by anyone who wishes to promote the cause of the disadvantaged and marginalized in our society."

"Structural social work scholarship has long been criticized for lacking sufficient methodological and practical application. This book takes the literature a futher - and much needed - step, providing practice-relevant narratives that will assist practitioners, students, and scholars alike. I recommend this book to anyone affiliated with the social services who is interested in progressive, applicable practice."
John R. Graham, Murray Fraser Professor, Faculty of Social Work, University of Calgary

What is a Reflowable ebook?
Reflowable eTextbooks respond to the size of the device they are viewed on, much like a typical website. This causes them to look different from a traditional book. They may also contain embedded audio, video, or interactive components in addition to the RedShelf Reader’s standard study tools.
What is a Fixed Layout eBook?
A fixed layout eTextbook maintains the look and the feel of a printed textbook. The text is fixed, and the screen size determines the size of the text. These eTextbooks work best on large-screen devices and do not contain any embedded media or interactive content.
